Day 1: Back on the horse again...for the last time...again!

I have peaks and troughs of weight loss and due to having high muscle mass from dance training, I can tone up pretty quickly but in the same breath can lose it almost as quickly.

I have tried the food optimisation plan from Slimming World before and was gobsmacked that it actually worked as you can still have food that's bad for you as long as you count it in your 'syns'. Syns are in synergy with the plan you have chosen, I've gone for Extra Easy as it's the best option for people who don't eat a lot of meat. This means I can have 5-15 syns a day.

Today, I am deciding to lose weight for the last time and am using the books I got from the first time I went to Slimming World but just not paying £5 for the privilege of being weighed in public, thought I'd save money and blog it for free!

I'm aiming to lose 2 stone and will be marking each half stone with a proper treat to myself eg. beauty treatment or clothes shopping, not rewarding myself with food, as after all, I am not a dog!

A girl I met in a pub at the weekend text me yesterday about a boxercise class which I have now booked in for next Friday night, but with my manic job, I know that to get gym hours in, I'll have to get up and go before work.

I'll be updating this blog as a food and exercise diary and chart my weight loss along the way. I think I might be less likely to cheat or be lazy if I know my endeavours are out in the public domain.

Food diary: DAY 1

Breakfast
Fruit Salad (Free)

Lunch
Jacket Potato with Cheese and Bean (Free + cheese= healthy extra)

Dinner
Aubergine Bake (4 Syns)

Snacks
Cadbury's Chocolate Finger x 5 (1.5 Syns each so total of 7.5 Syns)

My Syn total for today is 11.5 which is within my 5-15 allowance but quite high up on the scale.

Exercise Diary: DAY 1

Erm...none, but I did take the stairs every time to my office instead of using the lift...!
